  1. Good question. There are other signals you can use instead of verbal ones. Try hand signals, tapping out, holding a squeaky toy in your hand if you’re cuffed or tied up, using blinging patterns or humming.

  3. My partner and I don’t need safewords. We know each other so well we can reach each other body language, or be able to understand everything just by looking at each other. But obviously that doesn’t work for everyone so the rule of always having a safeword still stands in most cases.
