  1. It is understandable why some people think that women who are into the submissive lifestyle are both sluts and slaves. A submissive person or a slave surrenders their entire being, including their body, to the master or the dom, who can do whatever he or she wants to do with them. To some, this may seem “slutty” because it often involves trading or renting out the slave to others, usually friends. A woman (or a man, for that matter) who is willing to enter this kind of arrangement and to be used sexually whenever and wherever can easily be deemed a “slut,” but that would be a very superficial, not to mention uninformed view of the matter. In dominance/submission and in master/slave relationships, sex is just the tip of the iceberg. Being a slave is much more than just offering your body to the master for sexual purposes. It means surrendering entirely your will to the master. A slave needs to ask master’s permission to do anything, from banal things like going to the bathroom, to handling money and basically making any sort of decision. Sex is just one small aspect of it. Being a slut only means being ready and willing to be used in a sexual way, while being a slave means learning how to surrender your entire being and your will to someone else.
