  2. A master is the male version of a mistress. He takes a slave, with her consent, of course, and treats her just like that, a slave. Owns her, basically. He is the ultimate dominant figure in bdsm world.

  3. A master is part of the master/slave dynamics in BDSM, not to be confused with D/s or Dominant/submissive dynamics. A master is a person, male or female, who is dominant in the community and usually pairs with a slave, a person who willingly and consensually enters the arrangement where he or she loses all rights and surrenders their will to the master. A master is also a teacher, in many cases, a father figure, a husband figure, who protects the slave and takes care of all their needs. Usually, a master has one slave, and their relationship can even be formalized, but there are, of course, masters who are not paired with a single slave but enter casual relationships and one-off scenes with available and willing slaves.
